“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. Php 4:6
If this is so easy, why do I feel so disconnected...
“God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” Joh 4:24
John gives us the wisdom to see our connection to God is Spirit to spirit.
Where is God?
“Our God is in the heavens; he does all that he pleases.” Psa 115:3
God is in heaven…
Where is Jesus ?
“So then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.” Mar 16:19
“who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, with angels, authorities, and powers having been subjected to him.” 1Pe 3:22
Jesus is seated in heaven with God…
Where is the Holy Spirit ?
“And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever,” Joh 14:16
The Holy Spirit is here with us.
“Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?” 1 Cor 3:16
Holy Spirit is alive in us when we receive Him.
“Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.” Rom 8:26
So as we pray, it is our active spiritual connection.
“The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:” Rom 8:16
As God’s children then we have heavenly access to God through the Holy Spirit.
Prayer is our spiritual connection with God.
“Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” Heb 4:16
God is as close as your prayer and you are just as close to your answer. Now that you heard the Word, it is time to be a “doer” of the promise.
COME boldly unto the throne and receive God’s grace in His mercy for your time of need.
