In every relationship, each has his part...
“For we are God’s fellow workers. You are God’s field, God’s building.” (1 Corinthians 3:9)
As we read God’s Word, our Bible, we see the many promises God has for each of us as we walk out His plan and purpose for us.
Why then does it seem so hard to receive the promised blessing ?
One of the foundational reasons is that we overlook that we are to work together with our God… “God’s fellow workers.”
⇓ Let us look at a few verses from Psalm 37 below. ⇓
37:3 Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.
37:4 Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
37:5 Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
37:6 And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy
37:7 Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.
37:8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil.
37:9 For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth.

Our part in the relationship is huge...
Often God is waiting on us and we claim we are waiting on Him. We have to be intimate and intentional every time we read the Word.

We deceive ourselves by not being close enough to God to hear His voice and know His will.
“But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.” James 1:22
